Note BPM feel and key if you will add live instruments—Suno drift is small but real

Separation regenerates from the model’s internal representation; starting from a muddy Style stack (epic orchestral trap phonk) gives muddier stems even in v5.5.

Generic workflow that works in Logic, Reaper, or Ableton:

Import stems to aligned tracks (verify sample-accurate start)
High-pass non-bass stems around 30–40 Hz collectively—Suno subs can stack
Bus compress lightly; do not master per stem
Replace only the failing stem (often vocals) rather than re-generating the entire song

Keep Suno’s vocal stem as a reference when re-tracking—match timing before deleting.
